What belongs on a member mini program home

The member home first screen should be the member code, points, coupons and recent orders—not a company intro. Customers open it to show a code and look things up. They should be able to act in three seconds.

Members usually open the mini program for two urgent jobs: show identity in store, or check orders, points and booking status. If home leads with a brand film and franchise policy, the code is pushed to the third swipe and clerks say “just give your phone number.” Home is not a brand album. It is a scannable workbench. Must be on first screen A code that can be enlarged, points balance, usable coupons, in-progress orders.
Keep off first screen Group intro, leadership remarks, franchise pitch, gray “not enabled” tiles.
Members showing a code and looking up status in a mini program

The code must be there on open. Clerks scan this code—not “please log in and flip to the wallet.” Write expiry and which store can redeem points and coupons so the register is not the first place you learn a coupon is store-locked. Redemption lives on the store side. See How to design store redemption and reordering. Member and HQ stock must be one set. See After the store app shares HQ stock and membership, Why one back office keeps multi-end data from forking.

Home copy says what you can do now, not who we are

“About” can live in the profile. A promo carousel is fine if it does not cover the code. Booking buttons must name the service and time—do not write “Book now” and jump to a blank form. A template turns home into a mall grid and misses the member job. See A template mini program is almost as bad as none. Official-account menus alone never produce a code. See Official-account menus without a mini program.

DaXi draws a member home by asking: is the first in-store action scan or a phone number? That step sits in the center of the first screen. Go to the Apps & Mini Programs and name the format. WeChat or Alipay is in WeChat Mini Program or Alipay Mini Program. From brochure to tool. See Brochure mini program versus a work tool.

“Recent orders” in the wireframe must open status, not only an amount. Services need the next node and time; goods need logistics or pickup. A support entry is fine; it must not replace self-serve status. Phone volume drops because home already answers “where is my order.” If booking is the core job, put reschedule / cancel on the order detail so everything does not flood the phone.

Next to the points number write “this store / all stores.” Vague cross-store rules send clerks back to phone numbers and the code dies. Redemption finishes on the store side. Members only show the code. Do not make guests tap “Redeem” and then own the error.

Do not demand a phone number full-screen before login. Make the code large and bright

Logged-out users should still see “how to join” and support. Do not demand a phone number full-screen on open. On auth failure give a callable number so it is not a dead end. Points rules live on a page you can open, not only on a poster. If expiry rules change and the home number stays, complaints hit the clerk first.

Night mode and brightness matter for showing a code. Too small or low contrast and peak hours revert to phone numbers—home design wasted. At most one promo slot, and it cannot cover the code. Ended campaigns must turn off so expired posters do not own the first screen and guests tap into a 404.

Put the first in-store action in the center of the first screen

Scan or recite a phone number? Member code, points, coupons, in-progress orders—act in three seconds. Send the format. We will draw home around show-and-look-up.
