SimtoLink: The cloud console isolates devices and SIMs per company

September 11, 2026 DaXi Technology

Multi-tenant management enables SaaS operations: one platform system serves many enterprises or brands, each as an independent tenant, with data and permissions fully isolated. Unlike a data pool, where many SIMs share data, and white label, which customizes the brand, this capability focuses on tenant isolation, resource quotas, and usage billing. Each tenant has its own SIMs, plans, users, and orders, and the platform operator manages tenants, quotas, and billing in one place.

Tenant isolation and independent configuration

Tenants can register, try, and upgrade on their own. A tenant can configure plans, carriers, payment channels, and similar items independently, without interfering with others. Resource usage is counted and billed by tenant, which supports the platform operator's SaaS business model.

Data such as SIMs, plans, users, orders, and agents is fully isolated between tenants. Tenant A cannot access any data of tenant B. Isolation is by tenant ID underneath, which protects data security and compliance when many customers share one platform. Each tenant can configure its own plan packaging, carrier integration, payment channels, white label, and similar items, without interference. A tenant administrator has full management rights inside that tenant, can create sub-accounts, and can configure business rules. The platform operator manages only the tenant level, quotas, and billing.

Trial quotas and usage billing

A prospect can register online as a tenant, fill in company information, and choose a trial plan. The trial can limit features, for example only some capabilities, and usage, for example at most 100 SIMs. When the trial ends, the tenant can upgrade to a formal tenant, with self-service conversion supported.

Quotas such as a maximum number of SIMs, a maximum number of data pools, and an API-call cap can be set for a tenant, with a reminder or a limit when the cap is exceeded. SIM count, data usage, API calls, and similar items are counted by tenant. Pay-per-use, monthly, and yearly modes are supported, and bills can connect to payment for automated charging.

Comparison, scenarios, and implementation notes

Multi-tenancy, white label, and data pools solve different problems. Multi-tenancy focuses on data isolation and billing. The core capabilities are tenant isolation, quotas, and usage billing, for business-tenant management. White label focuses on brand presentation. The core capabilities are logo, colors, and domain customization. A data pool focuses on many SIMs sharing data. The core capability is SIMs in the pool sharing a data allowance. The three can be used together: multi-tenancy for data isolation and billing, white label for brand presentation, and a data pool for SIM-level data sharing, which together support multi-brand SaaS operations.

A SaaS platform uses one system to serve many enterprises, each an independent tenant, with data isolated and billing by usage. In multi-brand operations, the same platform serves several brand customers, and each brand configures its own white label, plans, and carriers without affecting the others. A prospect can register for a trial on their own and upgrade to a formal tenant when the trial ends. The SimtoLink IoT cloud platform multi-tenant plan helps an enterprise serve many customers with one system: data isolation keeps many customers safe on one platform, independent configuration meets differentiated needs, and usage billing supports the SaaS charging model. Tenant levels and resource quotas should be defined clearly, and a trial can limit features and usage. SimtoLink can help design and implement a multi-tenant architecture.
