SimtoLink: Two-wheeler trackers are managed by vehicle number

October 14, 2025 DaXi Technology

SimtoLink's personnel-badge locating card is for worn staff, covering in-zone presence, boundary crossing, and continuous tracks. It can work with UHF read points, LPWAN backhaul, or AoA base stations to support visual attendance, access-control linkage, and emergency headcounts for visitors, contractors, and frontline crews. On the card, it emphasizes a low-profile RF window, a common lanyard or clip structure, and consistent batch UID encoding, so ledgers, loss reporting, and engineering acceptance can line up with tender clauses.

Product overview and engineering role

When connecting to access control, elevator control, and a visitor platform, check read range, multi-tag anti-collision, and encrypted-area permissions against the Hardware Specification. SimtoLink can provide batch options such as silkscreen, color bars, and lanyard-hole positions, plus a sample-card inspection report.

Reliability and site fit

For electrical safety and EMC, the product passes CCC-related test items, and the ports have surge and reverse-polarity protection. The structure uses reinforced grounding and partitioned layout to reduce ground-loop and common-mode interference. For outdoor or coastal sites, a higher protection rating and an anti-corrosion coating are available.

On the software side, batch parameter import, threshold policies, and event video or waveform recording are supported (depending on the model), and configuration and firmware can be updated over OTA. SimtoLink recommends a three-step site acceptance: power-on self-test, communication time sync, and a sampling check. For metering or safety-related uses, it can assist with third-party metrology-institute submission and type-test documents.

Parameters, scenarios, and maintenance

The key hardware parameters below are for a typical configuration of this model, for engineering selection and for technical clauses in a tender. Frequency is 860–960 MHz. Read range is 0–3 meters and depends on the antenna. Memory is a sensor data area that can be written and locked. Protection is IP67, with an on-metal structure. The battery is a primary lithium-thionyl chloride cell with 3–5 years of life. Communication is EPC Gen2, with encryption. Installation is by cable tie, for metal surfaces. Operating temperature is −38 to 82 °C, with a cold-chain option. The standard is EPCglobal, with interoperability. For a wider range, redundant power, or an intrinsically safe explosion-proof variant, contact SimtoLink for the Hardware Specification and the Installation and Commissioning Guide. Order codes in the same family may differ slightly. The nameplate and the documents shipped with the unit prevail.

In campuses and office buildings, badge tap-in, zone permissions, and temporary visitor credentials link to elevator control and turnstiles. In manufacturing and warehousing, restricted-area entry alerts, crew on-duty checks, and tracks in critical zones support EHS audits. In hospitals and schools, identification for staff and students, visitor card issue, and checkout on leaving reduce impersonation risk. At exhibitions and events, short-term credentials, fast check-in, and crowd-density assistance are used, and cards are collected in bulk after the event.

Before power-on, confirm the supply range and polarity, and use a multimeter to recheck bus voltage and breaker capacity when needed. Use shielded twisted pair for communication cables, grounded at one end, and do not bundle them with high-power cables over a long run. For first go-live, finish two-way read/write and threshold-trigger checks with the platform in the lab, then move to the site. Outdoor installation should drain and breathe first, and sealing faces should be inspected regularly. Lightning-protection ground resistance should meet local rules. For long-term operation, do a sampling check and archive logs every 6 months.

SimtoLink provides the hardware specification, mechanical drawings, a wiring table, and a sample project. Volume orders support sample review and in-plant inspection. Warranty and calibration follow the contract and the documents shipped with the goods.
