Kandiantong: A failed waybill print stays on the order

February 5, 2026 DaXi Technology

Start with the conclusion: a waybill number returned by the interface is only half the work. The warehouse printer must produce a label that can be scanned.

Which system is the source of truth

Interfaces of a third-party product follow that party's current documentation and the version you bought. This article describes the acceptance criteria when Kandiantong is implemented.

The waybill number is issued by the carrier through the waybill service. The address, phone number, and phone-masking rules in the print template follow the warehouse's requirements. A mall order becomes shipped only after a successful print is reported back.

Key fields and failure compensation

Key fields include the waybill number, the three-segment code or routing information if the template needs it, the item name, and the order number. If the printer is offline, the number can be obtained first, but the status stays waiting to print, so the system does not treat the parcel as sent. A voided number must be released. A voided number must not be sent to the user again. Accept each carrier and each printer on its own.

What to check before go-live

Before electronic waybill printing, write down the source of truth and check the number, the template, and the printer. Do not enter a development schedule without interface documentation, a test environment, and one successful message. When the other party is down, the mall either stops taking orders or uses safety stock under a written plan. It cannot keep selling without a limit.

Dead letters need an owner who can say the same day whether to replay or void them. Kandiantong implements the agreed fields. It does not rewrite the other party's rates or activation status.
