Kandiantong: Education orders end when a lesson is marked used
Start with the conclusion: in education and training, inventory is the class session. Parents buy remaining lessons. The campus sells occupancy of a teacher and a classroom. A failed lesson deduction is more serious than missing one sale.
How the transaction happens
This page states the system boundary and the acceptance criteria for this business. Whether a license, filing, or special category is required follows the latest requirements of regulators and of platforms such as WeChat.
A parent buys a lesson pack or a term class. After the student checks in against the schedule, a lesson is deducted. Leave, absence, and a class cancelled by the teacher: whether each of the three deducts a lesson must be written on the purchase page. A trial class usually does not enter the formal lesson account. One-to-one and class courses cannot share the same inventory. One-to-one locks a teacher's time. A class course locks a seat.
System and fulfillment boundaries
The lesson account is separate from the cash order. A lesson is deducted only at check-in, and a back-office makeup check-in must keep the operator. Leave either does not deduct a lesson or deducts one by rule. Choose one and publish it. Remaining lessons can be transferred to another class, and the price difference of that transfer is settled on its own. A refund is calculated on lessons not yet consumed. Lessons already taught are not refunded.
Recorded courses that expire with the entitlement can use a knowledge-payment template. Offline lesson consumption, one-to-one scheduling, the refund formula, and campus revenue sharing have to be customized. Rules on supervising prepaid funds for education and training differ by place. The system can export the amount of unconsumed lessons so the institution can file as the local rules require. It does not replace a supervised account.
Acceptance and go-live checks
Prepare one student: buy 10 lessons, check in twice, take leave once, and refund the remainder. Remaining lessons and the refundable amount must be recomputed from a formula. If a makeup check-in has no operation log, acceptance fails.
A successful order's completed state must be the completed state of this business. It must not stay at waiting for shipment. A failed order must be stopped before payment is taken. Logs keep the operator and the time. Customer service cannot close a case only by editing a note. The quote is written in three lines: what the monthly fee can configure, which state machine or integration needs a project, and what is explicitly out of scope.
