The cases below are compiled from real customers served by Kandiantong. Industries and figures have been anonymized. They show how mini programs work in different scenes and what matters in implementation, as a reference for selection.

A regional chain retail brand's mini-program mall

Customer background: a regional chain retailer with 30+ stores, mainly clothing and daily goods, with annual sales of about 200 million yuan. It used to rely on Tmall, JD.com, and similar platforms, and faced high platform commissions (5–8%), high campaign costs, and difficulty keeping user data.

Solution: Kandiantong built a WeChat mini-program mall for them, integrating product management, multi-spec stock, member levels, group buying and bargaining, a points mall, order tracking, and live selling. It supports both the mini program and an app, with a shared admin, and member, order, and points data are connected. Stores place mini-program codes so in-store users scan and become members.

Operating results: six months after launch, the mini program contributed 35% of GMV. Through group-buy sharing, customer-acquisition cost fell from about 80 yuan per person on the platform to about 25 yuan, a drop of about 70%. Member repeat-purchase rate rose 30%. Private-domain users reached 150,000, a base for later precision marketing. Customer feedback: the mini program is use-and-leave, sharing is easy, and the viral effect is especially good. With our own private domain, we no longer depend on the platform's mood.

A chain restaurant brand's mini program

Customer background: a restaurant chain with 20+ stores, mainly Chinese fast food, with about 150,000 orders a month. It used to rely on Meituan and Ele.me. Platform commission was above 20%, and user data belonged to the platform, so it could not market on its own.

Solution: Kandiantong custom-built a restaurant mini program supporting scan-to-order, delivery, reservations and queuing, member stored value, coupons, and in-store pickup. Multiple stores are managed together, and stored value can be used at any store. Tables carry a mini-program code so dine-in users scan to order. Delivery packaging includes a mini-program card to drive repeat purchase.

Operating results: one year after launch, orders from owned channels gradually rose to 45%, which reduced dependence on platforms. Stored-value prepayments exceeded 5 million yuan, which improved cash flow. Member visit rate rose, and average order value rose 15% because of exclusive offers. The customer said: the mini program paid for itself within a year, and everything after that is net gain. Stored-value cards locked in many regular customers.

A beauty-chain mini program

Customer background: a hair and beauty chain with 15 stores, mainly cuts, perms and color, and care. It used to book by phone and private WeChat chat. Front-desk labor was high, bookings were easy to miss or clash, and member information was scattered across stores.

Solution: Kandiantong built a beauty mini program supporting online booking (service, stylist, and time slot), stylist schedules, session cards and annual cards, stored-value spending, and member points. Before booking, the user can see whether a stylist is free. After booking, an automatic reminder lowers no-shows. Member data is managed in one place, and stored value and packages work across stores.

Operating results: after launch, booking conversion rose 35%, and the no-show rate fell from about 20% to below 8%. Member repeat-purchase rate rose 25%. Front-desk call volume fell 60%, saving labor cost. Store feedback: we no longer take calls until our hands hurt. Customers book themselves, and we worry much less. Stored-value cards and session cards sell better than before, and cash flow has improved.
